2020 Kingdom Thoughts

Tuesday October 27, 2020

As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots. And Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered!”

Mark 11:20-21 (ESV) ‬‬‬‬

Day 301 – All leaves, No Figs

God wants us to be alive, not dead. Our relationship with Jesus, being saved and renewed by Him, brings about restoration and hope. If we read the Bible and pray and attend church and yet see no fruit in our lives, something is missing. We should identify the problem and seek help. Being honest with God will allow Him to sow seeds of righteousness in our lives.

Dear God, we want to be hungry for Your presence and power. We want to be rooted in Your love and mercy. There are times when we are dry and experience the dark soul of the night. Yet this dry season will not last forever. You draw us into a covenant relationship and Your faithfulness will see us through all seasons of our lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
