Day 13 Reading: Genesis 28-29, Matthew 9:18-38, Psalm 11 and Proverb 3:11-12 
We are not to do evil, for God tests each of us who claims to be good and righteous followers of Christ. We are not to repay wicked people and violent deeds in our own way but leave the unrighteous to God's judgement.
"The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence." – Psalm 11:5 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, let me remember who You are so I will not take revenge when others have done me wrong. Let me also be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s prompting in order that I may be gentle and loving to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen."
