Day 47 Bible Reading: Leviticus 1-3, Mark 1, Psalm 35:17-28 and Proverb 9:13-18 
God is not the author of our sin. Neither is Satan who can only tempt but not force us to sin. The fact is we sin because of our own weaknesses. Scripture shows that Jesus was tempted but did not sin. No matter the circumstance, we can do likewise with His help.
"And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him." – Mark 1:13 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, in my wilderness help me to reflect and then come to acknowledge my contribution to my current predicament. Forgive me when I give in to my fleshly desires and am carried away by temptation. Thank you Jesus for showing me Your good example so I will not fall into sin. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
