Day 54 Bible Reading: Leviticus 14, Mark 6:30-56, Psalm 40:1-10 and Proverb 10:11-12 
While you are wait upon God for an answer of your prayer, the best thing to do is sing a new song to Him. David speaks of having a new song. Such comes when we had freshly learned something of God’s character and faithfulness during our own time of great adversity. It’s hard to wait, but there’s no quick fix. We can do absolutely nothing while waiting except reflecting and honouring His faithfulness in our life.
"He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord." – Psalm 40:3 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, my need is great and I don't know how much longer I can last. But I promise to wait, to praise to in the midst of pending, replying upon your promise to renew my strength. In Jesus' name, Amen."
