Day 57 Bible Reading: Leviticus 19, Mark 8, Psalm 42 and Proverb 10:17 
Have you ever ignored correction that you should have listened to? We struggle often to give our attention to discipline or correction because sometimes we want to do things our own way. We then come to realize in the end that the correction was necessary in our lives. If discipline leads to life then rebellion leads to death. We often make life more difficult then it should be. God’s discipline leads to life. It is for our good.
"Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray." – Proverbs 10:17 (English Standard Version)
"Father, help me to receive your instruction and correction in life whenever I start going astray. Help me to understand that your desire for me is the way of life and not destruction. Give me humility to accept correction whenever I am going astray and bring me back to you. In Jesus' name, Amen."
