Day 69 Bible Reading: Numbers 14, Mark 14:53-72, Psalm 53 and Proverb 11:4 
Have you met anyone who says there is no God? With all the religions in the world and with millions of gods to choose from, yes, there are individuals who do not believe in a divine being. Who are these unbelievers? According to evolutionary psychologist Nigel Barber, atheism blossoms in places where most people feel economically secure, where there is less uncertainty about the future with extensive social safety nets and better health care resulting in a greater quality of life and higher expectancy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atheism). It would seem they do not need God. Research also has demonstrated that the smartest minds in the world profess no belief in God. In today’s scripture reading we find how the Creator views them – fools.
"The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good." – Psalm 53:1 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, I am so grateful and awed that You called me out of darkness and into Your marvellous light. I am eternally thankful for Your love, grace, mercy, and faithfulness that has changed my life and brought me to You. I pray You would redeem those who do not know You and have mercy on their souls. In Jesus' name, Amen."
