Day 80 Bible Reading: Numbers 32-33, Luke 4:31-44, Psalm 64 and Proverb 11:22 
One of man’s basic needs is to understand and be understood. But to whom can we tell our troubles and worries? For some may regard our cries as weak and strange. Others are faced with problems of their own or lack the resources to help. The Psalmist knows to cry out to God in times of distress. Our life-giving God understands and is full of grace and mercy towards us.
"Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy." – Psalm 64:1 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, please hear my cries. I lift up my burdens to You because You understand me. Please give me relief from my enemy’s tight fists and fiery darts. In Your grace and mercy, You deliver me to the land of safety and I thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
