Day 81 Bible Reading: Numbers 34-36, Luke 5:1-26, Psalm 65 and Proverb 11:23
You can never please a sinner. So why try and labour on such a pointless task. Instead of fearing that we may upset people and have their anger directed our way when we do right, let’s focus on the way God works.
"The desire of the righteous ends only in good, the expectation of the wicked in wrath." – Proverbs 11:23 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, forgive me when I try to please people but forget that You are in total control of every situation. Empower me so I will not fear man but can boldly do the right thing, and trust that You alone are the judge. Also, good will come from righteous deeds. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
