Day 88 Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 11-12, Luke 8:19-39, Psalm 70 and Proverb 12:4 
When things are going good, the sun is shining, and when life seems right and you might proclaim, "God is great!" Today's reading from Psalms allows us to hear a desperation call for help and a plea for a speedy deliverance. Those that love salvation know what price was paid for our deliverance from sin and without hesitation can always say, "God is great! We share a common understanding that God paid a price for our souls and we rejoice whatever the circumstances.
"May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, 'God is great!'" – Psalm 70:4 (English Standard Version)
"Great are you Lord and greatly to be praised! I rejoice in your salvation. You have given me life free from sin and the burden of guilt. No matter what is happening today, I proclaim your greatness for my salvation! In Jesus' name, Amen."
