Teaching the next generation about God is not the church’s responsibility, or Sunday school’s, or the internet, or the youth leader’s responsibility. It is yours and mine. The stories of how God has moved in our lives, the stories of his faithfulness in the Bible, the stories of our failures and His mercy – these are what we do not hide. These are what we share so the next generation will give Him praise and glory as well.

"Dear Lord, I can see I have a responsibility for the next generation I may not have taken seriously enough. Give me the courage and opportunity to share my walk of faith with the young men and women around me. In the process may they see you and your glory more fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
