Day 103 Bible Reading: Joshua 8-9, Luke 16, Psalm 82 and Proverb 13:2-3 
Jesus is being ridiculed by the Pharisees for teaching about wealth and its relationship with devotion to God. He exposes what is in the heart of man. The word “admonition” is a strong description that offends his listeners. A few areas that will exalt man is pride in riches, beauty, wisdom, and power. Let us take a moment and examine our attitudes about these four areas. Are we serving our Master or devoted to one of these? Are we serving the Lord with our whole heart or is our devotion to him being challenged with what the world values highly? His words will expose our hearts and if we are offended, then we know the answer to these questions. May His Love and Mercy grant us forgiveness.

"Lord, thank you for being straight with us and loving us enough to expose our hearts. If there be any wicked way in me, please forgive me and lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. I want to be completely devoted to You. Amen."
