Day 116 Bible Reading: Judges 6, Luke 23:1-25, Psalm 95-96 and Proverb 14:5-6 
Are we sometimes too clever for our own good? Definitely. We twist and turn, direct and manipulate our circumstances to where we want them to go even at the expense of other people. Yet, our best efforts will come to nothing if our motives and attitudes are wrong. The Bible says: "A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding."
