Some say a leader is born. Others believe a person acquires leadership qualities through training. Regardless, God places people in the position of leadership – in family, workplace, organizations and churches. Each Divine mandate calls for a leader to act righteously and to avoid vices.
"It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness." – Proverbs 16:12 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, help me to be humble and meek so I can serve others in the leadership position that you put me in. I will be Your vigilant and faithful servant and will shun evil. Let Your righteousness be my guiding light. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
