Children are gifts from God. Yet the worries and troubles we put into bringing them up are often no different from those of non-Christian parents for whom school grades and work positions reign supreme regardless of a child’s God-given natural ability. Why?

"Lord, forgive me when I lord over my children with my own values and preferences and in so doing I ignore Your creative purpose for each individual and his or her unique divine destiny.
