Day 171 Bible Reading: 1 Kings 22, Acts 13, Psalm 138 and Proverb 17:17-18 
The Story in 1 Kings 22 tells us that before the war against the Syrians, to get back a city of Ramoth-gilead, King of Judah, Jehoshaphat obeyed God and seeked Him first. He also encouraged his partner do this same. However, King of Israel, Ahab, seeked his team, the false prophets’ advice first. You can continue to read this story of what happened to King Ahab. God will greatly reward those who put their faith in Him by seeking His voice first instead of themselves, their team, their knowledge and their resources.
