Day 172 Bible Reading: 2 Kings 1-2, Acts 14, Psalm 139 and Proverb 17:19-21 
It’s not always easy to be bold for the Lord. Often than not, there is discouragement, opposition and intimidating moments when we want to bear witness of Jesus. When Paul and Barnabas were faced with such challenges, instead of withdrawing, they spent a longer time there, speaking boldly for the Lord. Then God enabled them to perform signs and wonders. When we stand bold and take risks for God, He shows up and signs and wonders follow.
"So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord, who bore witness to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands." – Acts 14:3 (English Standard Version)
"Father, thank you that we are not left alone, but you manifest your presence when we are bold and take risks for Jesus. Help me to be bold for you and live in your power. I renounce any cowardness in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
