Day 177 Bible Reading: 2 Kings 10-11, Acts 17, Psalm 144 and Proverb 17:27-28 
A wise person knows how to restrain his speech. He keeps his cool and he doesn’t speak impulsively. In contrast, the hot-tempered man cannot control his speech. If we talk without thinking we can hurt people.
"Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding." – Proverbs 17:27 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, I want to acquire a cool spirit and know how to guard my lips, to not speak in haste, but to think carefully before I speak. I want to learn to speak what is fitting and at the right time. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
