Day 179 Bible Reading: 2 Kings 13-14, Acts 18:23-28, Psalm 146 and Proverb 18:2-3 
Psalm 146:3 warns us not to put our trust in mortal men, not even those in high positions, for they cannot save you nor save themselves from the grave. Our trust must be in the Lord and not in men. The Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, who rules history, and remains faithful forever, He alone is worthy of our trust.
"Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation." – Psalm 146:3 (English Standard Version)
"Eternal God, Father God, I commit myself into your safekeeping. I will fix my eyes on you and put my trust in you alone, Lord! Amen."
