Day 188 Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 4-5, Acts 25, Psalm 5 and Proverb 18:19 
Who do we turn to in our times of trouble and challenges? King David went through a lot of difficulties and challenges in his life. And who did he turn to in his troubles? It was always first to God. Let us follow his example and turn to Jesus in our challenging and difficult times as our first and only recourse. He is the one who can change our circumstances or just strengthen us so that we go through our difficulties and come out the other side, victorious and a more mature Christian. His promise is that he will never leave us nor forsake us.
"Give ear to my words, O Lord; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray." – Psalm 5:1-2 (English Standard Version)
"Father Lord, we pray for your protection, provision, and love to come upon our members and their families. We pray You grow their faith in You and that they may walk in your truth each day. Your Grace and peace to them, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
