Day 204 Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 9-10, Romans 8:1-17, Psalm 18:16-36 and Proverb 19:26 
In addition to justification, God gives us another amazing privilege when we become Christian; the privilege of adoption. God could have forgiven our sins and just given us justification to stand before Him without making us his children. But God loves us so much, that He wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. God gave us a Spirit of adoption as sons and duaghters and the power of Holy Spirit working in us to change our slavish fears towards God as we are princes or princesses of Heaven and Almighty God. All authorities God has given to you. Let the Spirit of God help us live a life reflecting that we are the children of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
"For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," – Romans 8:15-16 (English Standard Version)
