Day 295 Bible Reading: Jeremiah 39-40, 2 Timothy 1, Psalm 91 and Proverbs 26:1-2 
Your faith, your integrity, and the way in which you follow the Lord has a profound impact on your family. Young Timothy had an advantage of being raised by a godly mother and grandmother. What stories did they pass on to him? What life experiences or tests had they faced and shared with him? We can only imagine, but their godly character and instruction somehow made it to the ears of the apostle Paul.
"I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well." – 2 Timothy 1:5 (English Standard Version)
"Dear Lord, thank you for the people you have brought into my life as godly influences. They are precious examples. Their care for me is humbling. I want to be a vehicle of godly influences as well. Help me to pass along this heritage to the next generation, just as Eunice and Lois did. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
