Day 297 Bible Reading: Jeremiah 43-44, 2 Timothy 2:14-26, Psalm 94-95 and Proverbs 26:6-8 
Paul instructs Timothy to avoid several things – godless chatter, youthful desires (v. 22), useless arguments (v. 23), and those denying the power of God (3:5). Let’s choose to talk about something worthwhile today.

"Dear Lord, I repent of so much nonsense I talk about each day. It’s just mindless air. Forgive me. Put new, better, wholesome words in my mouth. May my words be an encouragement and inspiration to others near me. May the words from my mouth be a source of edification. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
