Day 302 Bible Reading: Lamentations 1-2, Philemon 1, Psalm 101 and Proverbs 26:20 
Does the truth always hurt? Depends! If the condition of our heart is right, we will not choose and accept only the smooth and flattering, but are open to the uncomfortable truth about ourselves from Godly people whose honesty will help to shine light into the dark areas of our life.
"Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading." – Lamentations 2:14 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, You know my true spiritual state. Help me to do away with my pride so I will not fall into the pit of sweet talk and worthless praise. Give me the courage to seek out and listen to Godly people who You send to me so I may avoid the deadly consequences of sin. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
