No one wants to be stubborn and obstinate. Yet such character traits plague us more than we want to admit. It is therefore important for us to have a teachable heart that can listen and receive God’s teaching so we may walk in the right way.

"Lord, forgive me when my heart is hardened and obstinate and thus I refuse to listen to You. Please help me to have a soft and yielding heart so I will submit to Your Divine sovereignty. Thank you, Lord. Amen."
