Day 310 Bible Reading: Ezekiel 15-16, Hebrews 7:11-18, Psalm 106:1-12 and Proverbs 27:4-6 
Christ’s death on the cross was a once-and-for-all sacrifice for the sins of the world. As Jesus cried out from the cross "It is finished!" the work of redemption has been completed now, all who trust in Jesus and his sacrificial death have their sins forgiven, and they become a new creation with the Spirit of God filling them. They now have the hope and assurance of eternal life with God. What a blessing! And all through that one sacrifice.
"For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself." – Hebrews 7:26-27 (English Standard Version)
"Lord Jesus, we thank you for your sacrificial death on the cross of Calvary. We thank you that through your death, which was once for all, we have abundant life and eternal life. We thank you for the power of the cross. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen."
