What is the secret of living a pure life – it is by storing God’s word in our hearts. This is more than just memorising His word – it is understanding, accepting and absorbing His word. The standards, principles and values for living life that are there in God’s word need to become our personal values to live by – that is storing God’s word in our hearts.

"Heavenly Father, thank you for your word, the bible. Thank you for the truths, which are in your word. I pray that we will store your word in our hearts by absorbing as our own, the standards, principles and values in your word and by this, that we may not sin against you. In Jesus' name, Amen."
