The world tells us that we can believe in whatever we like as a personal choice but we should not try and influence others with our beliefs. So, one's personal religion and faith today are seen as taboo topics which are not to be discussed. This worldly value almost puts a fear in those who believe in Christ to talk about their faith to others. But that is not God's standard. He wants us to openly acknowledge who Jesus is and our faith in him. We are His witness of His Kingdom. In fact, our being acknowledged by Jesus before the Father is conditional to our acknowledging Jesus before man - think of that!

"So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven." – Matthew 10:32-33 ‭‬‭(English Standard Version)

"Lord Jesus, let us be open about our faith in you and be proud to acknowledge you before others. Let us not be afraid of what others think of us. And even as we acknowledge you before man, use this to touch people's lives so that they too come to believe in you and taste your goodness. In Jesus' name, Amen."
