Day 33 Reading: Exodus 15-16, Matthew 22:23-46, Psalm 26:7-12 and Proverb 6:20-26
When Moses first met God at the burning bush, God declared Himself that "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." In the same way, when Jesus revealed himself to Sadducees, He was the God from the beginning, He was God Himself wrapped in human form and He was God and sent by God the Father to become our saviour for our sins. Jesus is both fully man and fully divine. Only our divine Saviour can save us from our sins. Whatever you have done wrong, Jesus has taken them all from us on the Cross, and with your repentance, you are saved now.
"‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living." – Matthew 22:32 (English Standard Version)
"Thank you Lord, our beloved Saviour, for as I am facing trial or in guilt, I will take heart in your promises and salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen."
