Day 38 Bible Reading: Exodus 26-27, Matthew 25:1-30, Psalm 31:1-8 and Proverb 8:1-11 
Satan and this world's system litter our path with a wide variety of innocent-looking snares and traps. But the deadliest of the traps are those inside us, and not outside of us. These traps target our hearts. But the new hearts that Jesus gave us will escape such traps because Jesus Himself lives in us. He is our refuge.
"You take me out of the net they have hidden for me, for you are my refuge." – Psalm 31:4 (English Standard Version)
"Dear heavenly Father, as I look at the things before me today, I may not be able to recognize the snares and traps ahead. 'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil' - that's my prayer today. I confess you are my refuge; where else can I go? Help me to be strong in you today. In Jesus' precious name, Amen."
