Day 71 Bible Reading: Numbers 17-18, Mark 16:1-13, Psalm 55:1-8 and Proverb 11:7 
At some point in our lives, we all have had someone make a promise to us. Some promises were kept, some were broken. We are all too familiar with the disappointment that comes with a broken promise. The Bible is laden with God’s promises, and we can trust that He is a God who sticks by what He has said and what He will do. He does not disappoint. He is our faithful God!
"All the holy contributions that the people of Israel present to the Lord I give to you, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. It is a covenant of salt forever before the Lord for you and for your offspring with you." – Numbers 18:19 (English Standard Version)
"Father, we can trust that no matter how many promises You have made, they are ‘yes’ in Christ. We choose to not let disappointment and failures take away our focus from the fact that You are a God who stands by Your word, that You are steadfast. Amen."
