Day 102 Bible Reading: Joshua 5-7, Luke 15, Psalm 81 and Proverb 13:1
Have you ever lost something that was valuable or priceless? A wide assortment of feelings and thoughts sweep over us. “What if…?”, “If only...?” “What do I do…?” are a few of the questions that we ponder. We take action and look for that item with energy and determination. We don't give up until we've found it. Jesus gives us examples of what the Father’s love is like for us as sinners. We see His love in the example of the Shepherd looking for his lost lamb. We share it in the woman looking for the lost coin. We experience it in the story of the prodigal son returning home to his loving father. We know there is joy in heaven over our redemption. God is searching for us! Hallelujah! Was lost and now I am found! thank you Jesus!
"Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents." – Luke 15:10 (English Standard Version)
"Thank you Jesus for Your unending love by searching for me and allowing me to repent of my sins. I rejoice in Your steadfast love and everlasting goodness towards me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
