Day 122 Bible Reading: Judges 17-18, John 2, Psalm 103 and Proverb 14:17-19 
We all can probably relate to having reacted in a manner that didn’t reflect who we are in a moment of anger. This is the knowledge being imparted in this passage of Scripture. We are most likely to make foolish decisions when we react without thought for our actions or words. The bible tells us to be slow to anger and speak because we are new creation. We have God’s attributes. Jesus became us, so that we can become more like Jesus to be slow to anger.
"A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated." – Proverbs 14:17 (English Standard Version)
"Father, help me to realize the impact of my words and actions. Help me to be slow to speak to avoid saying something foolish. You have given me a spiritual attribute of self-control therefore strengthen me to control my quick temper. Amen."
