Day 127 Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 1-2, John 5:1-29, Psalm 106:1-14 and Proverb 14:28-29 
What a curious question to ask an invalid, ‘Do you want to get well?’ Does it surprise you that in this man’s story he starts explaining what miracle he believed, but now, he saw the Kingdom of Heaven, and said ‘Yes’ to Jesus. Being healed means we have to take responsibility for ourselves; who we believe? Our own image of god or Jesus is our King who rules us and heals us.

"Dear Lord, deliverance and healing are in your hand, almighty God, my trust is in you alone, not a god we created in our own image. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
