Day 133 Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 14, John 7:32-53, Psalm 109 and Proverb 15:5-7 
Just because Jesus brings peace (shalom) to our hearts, it does not mean everyone will agree about who He is. Even in His own day John reports there was sharp disagreement. Is He the Messiah? A prophet? Elijah reincarnated? Mary’s son? An angel appearing like a man? John explained in John 9:16, Pharisees focused on what you can do and what you cannot do in the Law, they missed the Kigndom of God in their midst (Luke17:21), so they missed Jesus. Today, do you see the Kingdom of God is here?

"Dear Lord, today I’m so thankful for your Word, clearly pointing the way to the truth of salvation. Jesus is indeed the Son of God, who submitted His life to bring us back to God. The Kingdom is peaceable, not provocative. Though there are people who have false knowledge about Jesusand He is our King, we confess that He is our only saviour. He is Lord of all.
