Day 136 Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 19, John 8:31-59, Psalm 112 and Proverb 15:12-14 
We all have had those days when we return home and we are exhausted, mentally fatigued, and empty. We just want to quickly complete our routine devotion. Jesus had confronted the Jews, scribes, Pharisees, a prostitute, extreme misunderstanding and hatred. He was accused of having a demon. He revealed the Kingdom of God and Heavenly Father to the Jews who know the Law. Unfortunately, the Pharisees only focused on the Law, they were unable to hear what Jesus said. They missed the Kingdom of God, they missed Jesus. Evidently, As we follow the dialogue in this event, we find the Son God rejected and reasoning was falling on “deaf” ears. When we are studying the Bible or doing our devotion, wouldn’t it be great that we would have ears ready to listen and hearts ready to receive Jesus’ revelations?

"Jesus, I am ready to listen to You and allow Your Words to speak to my heart. I want to keep Your Word so I never see death. Speak – your sheep is listening… In your holy name, Amen."
