Day 138 Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 22-23, John 10:1-21, Psalm 115 and Proverb 15:18-19 
It seems like a scene straight from a blockbuster movie. Famous fugitive David is on the run from the high authority King Saul. Saul is closing in on David and the odds are not in favour of David. Was it time for him to die? David knew it was not because David knew the Lord had a covenant with him. David also wrote Psalm 139 letting us know how intimate his life was with His Lord. David knew that his God had an appointed time for him to die and so did the Apostle Paul. What relationship these men had with God! We can be sure our life is in our Saviour's hand so let us trust and love Him with all our hearts.
