Day 146 Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 9-10, John 15, Psalm 119:49-64 and Proverb 16:1-3 
What a great picture of grace! Here a cripple person from the household of a 'has-been' previous royal family not only gets his property restored but obtains direct access to the court, eating DAILY with the king. It's likely Mephibosheth is the only person in the kingdom included in this routine! What a dramatic picture of what the Lord has done for us – rescuing us from obscurity and making us adopted children of the King of kings! We are called son and daughter in the kingdom of God.
"And David said to him, 'Do not fear, for I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I will restore to you all the land of Saul your father, and you shall eat at my table always.'" – 2 Samuel 9:7 (English Standard Version)
"Dear Lord, like Mephibosheth, I'm an undeserving 'adoptee' in your kingdom. Through your love and mercy, you've changed me from pauper to prince. I'm seated at your table of abundance and always 'enough!' And I am genuinely thankful. May I be quick today to share this wonder and joy with others. In Jesus' name, Amen."
