Day 150 Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 15-16, John 18:25-40, Psalm 119:113-128 and Proverb 16:10-11 
Human nature says we want to live, and to live well under our control. And what a lot of efforts we channel to these ends! Doubtless, social status, and money in the bank will bring a measure of comfort and security. As Christians, our understanding tells us, life itself is a gift from God, and our life-giving hope is also from Him. How’s about our faith? Who do we trust? Our King – Jesus or Money.

"Lord, my confidence is grounded in You. Thank you for upholding me. Let the Scripture today be my prayer so that I may live well, and have hope that will lift me out from the pit of shame. I have a Heavenly Father who can do all things; I will not be in lack of anything. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
