Day 160 Bible Reading: 1 Kings 5-6, Acts 7:1-29, Psalm 127 and Proverb 16:28-30 
Children are gifts from God. Yet the worries and troubles we put into bringing them up are often no different from those of non-Christian parents for whom school grades and work positions reign supreme regardless of a child’s God-given natural ability.
• Why?
• Is our live ruled by Jesus?
• Are we living in the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of this world?

"Lord, forgive me when I lord over my children with my own values and preferences and in so doing, I ignore Your original purpose for each individual and his or her unique divine destiny. Lord, renew my mind so I will live in your Kingdom, be an example of child of the Kingdom of God. Help me to disciple my children so that they will follow you in all ways. In Jesus' name, Amen."
