Day 198 Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 23-24, Romans 4, Psalm 13 and Proverb 19:15-16 
Faith and righteousness are mentioned together the first time in OT. (Genesis 15:6) Abraham's faith is credited as righteousness because God saw his heart and practical actions in obedience faith. Abraham was saved by faith, not by the Law because the Law was not given to Moses. Today we are saved and justified before God by faith in Jesus Christ, our relationship with God is not built by doing the Law, but by trusting in Him.

"Lord, I will stand firm under Your direction. I will place my trust in You and no one else. I believe in Your goodness, and I will follow Your ways all the days of my life so that I too may be credited as righteous. In Jesus' name, Amen."
