Day 203 Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 7-8, Romans 7:8-25, Psalm 18:1-15 and Proverb 19:24-25 
In this Psalm, graphically David describes his deep distress: cords of death coiled about him, torrents of destruction overwhelmed him, snares of death confronted him. Have you been through a season when mortality was very near? God can save us from destruction when we cry to him; he acts and cries (John11:35) because Jesus loves you. He has compassion for sufferings. He empathizes you. He is in you. He feels what you feel.
"In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears." – Psalm 18:6 (English Standard Version)
"Jesus Lord, in my distress, I called to you, I know you love me and listen to me and feel what I feel. I gave my battle to you. You will flight for me. I know you won the battle and had a victory. In you, I am more than a conqueror. Amen."
