Day 209 Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 21-22, Romans 11, Psalm 22:1-18 and Proverb 20:7 
God’s way is higher than our way. Man will remove and destroy the evil ruler. Perhaps the reader might ask why God did not destroy the wicked ruler a few chapters back. God's promises were in effect (the covenant with David's lineage). Man will break his promises, but God never breaks His covenant with His people. He promised to send His Son Jesus for us. When you are in a difficult time or a crisis, remember God's promises for you. He loves you and will never break His promise.
"Yet the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and since he had promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever." – 2 Chronicles 21:7 (English Standard Version)
"We praise You, Father, because of Your Righteousness and Faithfulness to your covenant with us. We proclaim Your Truth and Testimony that You alone are worthy of our praise and adoration. In Jesus' name, Amen."
