2019-08-03 (SAT) Exam Time

Day 215 Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 34, Romans 16, Psalm 26:1-6 and Proverb 20:19 Link opens new window

The only person who looks forward to exams is one who is thoroughly prepared and wants to pass the test and get promoted to the next level. How would you feel if today God placed you in the examination chair? Would you be confident? Would you willingly surrender to his intense but loving inspection, or would you want to hide? Allow the Lord to examine our hearts that we can grow and become more like Jesus.

"Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind. For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness." – Psalm 26:2-3 (English Standard Version)

"Dear Heavenly Father, I open myself up to you today. Examine me. Test me. I love you and trust you to show me the gaps and black smudges I can't see myself, so I can confess them and correct them with your Spirit's help. Like David, I want to walk in your truth continually. In Jesus' name, Amen."
