Day 225 Bible Reading: Nehemiah 5-6, 1 Corinthians 8, Psalm 33:1-11 and Proverb 21:8-10 
We know that all knowledge comes from our all-knowing God. And today, we are in an age where knowledge has grown exponentially. The world we live in today is so different from the world of even 50 years ago because of the explosion of knowledge. Yes, experience comes from God and helps in improving the quality of our lives. But there can be a downside to acquiring knowledge as it can make us proud and arrogant. When this happens, knowledge breaks down human life. Love, on the other hand, respect for others and love for God always builds up. Love is the motivation to bless, to build, to share, to sacrifice. We cannot go wrong with love but with knowledge, if it leads to pride and arrogance, can be detrimental to humanity.

"Lord, thank you for all the knowledge that you have given us and the intelligence to understand many things, but Lord, let not knowledge lead to arrogance and pride. And Lord, we ask that we will always grow in love for you and others, knowing that love will continually build and never destroy. In Jesus' name, Amen."
