Day 230 Bible Reading: Esther 1-3, 1 Corinthians 11:1-16, Psalm 35:17-28 and Proverbs 21:19-20 
The knowledgeable knows when to save, but the fool doesn't recognize the moment and is wasteful. Are you spending when instead you should be saving? Financial markets are not always secure and living in debt, and unnecessary spending invites unnecessary chaos to our lives. Let us live wisely and save and not spend everything that comes our way. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink. The Kingdom is living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans14:17) Jesus said, "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.” Luke 12:31.

"Father, guide me in recognizing moments when I am spending and living without anything in the storehouse. Give me the discipline to save and not be driven by my consumerism culture always to have more. Help me to seek first your Kingdom, and know that all I need you will add to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
