God blesses people with intellect and the ability to listen, learn, correct, and improve. But God gives wisdom. The knowledge helps us to see earthly things in the proper perspective and right order; God's wisdom helps us to see things in His kingdom perspective and His way. His way is higher than our way. When people stop learning and seeking God, they stop growing in wisdom and understanding.

"Lord, help me to get rid of my faith in man and worldly things. Forgive me for the times that out of my stubbornness and ignorance, I did things my way. Help me to seek your wisdom and compassion, trust in You with all my heart; you are my Lord and my Saviour. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
