Day 238 Bible Reading: Job 20-22, 2 Corinthians 1:1-11, Psalm 40:11-17 and Proverbs 22:2-4 
What will we see on that day when we stand at the mountain top to look back on our deep valley? Many painful moments but also an equal measure of comfort in Christ. In all, we shall see that God's grace abounds in our afflictions. Know this – Wherever you are, you are onto something good. When we are suffering, please remember that Jesus already suffered for us. He took all our suffering and condemnations on the cross, Now the pain for the cause of Christ allows us to better relate to him as "he is suffering for us."

"Lord, thank you for every suffering and every comfort in Christ. Let me not run away from the refining process that pain can bring. I only ask that Lord, in my times of sorrow and grief, You help me not become angry, bitter, and disappointed but to handle the situation with Your gentle grace and kind mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen."
