Day 240 Bible Reading: Job 28-30, 2 Corinthians 2, Psalm 42 and Proverbs 22:7 
The Hebrew verb yare can mean “to fear, to respect, to reverence” and the Hebrew noun "yirah" usually refers to the fear of God and is viewed as a positive quality (Leviticus 19:30). Fear of the Lord means to be in awe of his holiness, his great glory, and majesty and power. The word fear in the passage is speaking of a healthy fear of the Lord. Lord does not want us to fear him like slavish fear, the fear here which is not to characterize our son-ship relation to God. "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18) True wisdom comes only from understanding who God is and that He is holy, just, and righteous and developing a reverential fear of Him. Jesus is our friend I, Jesus is also our King
