Day 243 Bible Reading: Job 37-39, 2 Corinthians 5:1-10, Psalm 44:9-26 and Proverbs 22:13 
Our reflection on God's Word today brings us to greater faith and stronger conviction. Paul tells us, "there will be a time of persecution or a pressing from every side" Life's circumstances can press us down and allow us to lose heart. We also read that when we fix our eyes on our Lord Jesus. Verse 16 says, "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner-self is renewed." Jesus is the prince of peace; his peace overcomes the world.
"As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4:18 (English Standard Version)
"Lord, we cry Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lamb. For You alone are worthy of our praise, honour, and LiLifeWe look to You as our source of Life strength and hope. Blessed be Your Name forever! Amid our daily struggles, You are our victory. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus' name, Amen."
