'The child is the father of the man,' wrote William Wordsworth. Yes, childhood experiences shape a person's character. Let's not delegate to others the responsibility to teach our children the right way to live in God's ways. Let's be an example for our children to follow and learn. Our life speaks louder than our words.

"Lord, when You give me a command You will also provide me with grace to do the job. I claim Your wisdom and Your grace so I can be an active parent to teach my children Your love, grace, and Your ways through my transformed life and live out your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen."
